A Vision of the Aquarian Age
This book is an attempt at exploration of Ideas which are alive and can therefore enter our consciousness and bring change. We can all recognise the faculty for apprehending an idea for its very beauty. The holistic world view is penetrating our consciousness and superseding the rational materialism which is surely proving inadequate to explain our fantastic universe. Really we are recovering what was called the Ageless Wisdom of the ancient Mysteries, which knew that the Universe is Mind not mechanism, that the Earth is a sentient creature and not just dead mineral, that the human being is in essence spiritual, a droplet of Divinity housed in the temple of the body.
Operation Redemption
This book is a sequel to A Vision of the Aquarian Age first published by Coventure Books in 1977. Ours is an age of dramatic and even sensational change. The great theme is that there can be no renewal without a dying process, no death without resurrection. Thus events in the coming two decades are likely to be apocalyptic in nature. This implies what I have called 'Operation Redemption', a supreme hope that tribulation and cleansing change are a prelude to a new dawn.
Exploration into God
This book, the third of a trilogy, follows A Vision of the Aquarian Age and Operation Redemption. As I worked on it, I suddenly knew that its title must be "Exploration into God".
I saw that the emergence of the spiritual and holistic world view in our time was calling and challenging us to go beyond academic or traditional viewpoints and really take our own initiative in exploring into the field of God-thought. So I offer it, with due humility, as truth.
Magic Casements
Originally published in 1980, this book is published as a special edition to celebrate the life and work of Sir George Trevelyan. Sir George used his knowledge of poetry to expand the consciousness of his listeners. During his time as Warden of Attingham Park, he often used poetry to stimulate and inspire his audience. This volume contains some of his favourite poems by Wordsworth, Hopkins, D.H. Lawrence, Traherne, Coleridge, T.S. Eliot, Christopher Fry and Evelyn Nolt. Their poems are drawn together by his own insights and passionate enthusiasm for the written word. Sir George explains the secrets of good reciting, and encourages others to take up this art.
The Active Eye in Architecture
In this small book, educator Geroge Trevelyan works to apply Goethean seeing to the essential nature of architecture. The book has two main aims: First, to introduce the reader to a way of looking whereby seemingly static architectural forms are seen to shift and grow; Second, to use this way of seeing to identify basic aspects of architecture, particularly the dyadic tension between solid and space, earth and spirit. Trevelyan concludes that architecture exemplifies "the redemptive workings of light and life in the realm of inert matter" (p.72)
The Pattern of Initiation
This book is a study of the essential pattern of the laws of nature and initiation in the evolution of human cosciousness. Using examples from various cultural traditions, including Classical Greece and Ancient Egypt, the reader is introduced to the Rosicrucian philosophy of Francis Bacon which encompassed these ideas as well as the ideals of Humanism and Platonic-Orphic-Christian Love. The book acts as an introduction to later volumes which cover the subject in greater detail.
Twelve Seats at the Roundtable
Book by Edward Matchett and Sir George Trevelyan, 4th Baronet
Summons to a High Crusade
Sir George Trevelyan explores the vision of wholeness and what it means for us. Seeing Earth as a training-ground for the spirit, and humankind as the point where evolution becomes conscious of itself, he discusses free will and the sense of separation that results from our misuse of it; levity as the polar opposite of gravity (a concept which has disappeared from human consciousness); the human being as a bridging point between the worlds; the living Earth as part of the organism of the universe; the new Renaissance; and much more—all in his own inimitable and rousing style. This book is based on talks given by Sir George at the Findhorn Foundation over a period of several years.

Awakening Consciousness
Awakening Consciousness is a collection of carefully selected lectures by Sir George Trevelyan.
Sir George Trevelyan
This is the first biography of Sir George Trevelyan, felt by many to be the grandfather of the movement for spiritual regeneration in Britain. Sir George Trevelyan espoused alternative values long before the phrase became as popular as it is today. After hearing a lecture by a pupil of Rudolf Steiner, Trevelyan declared "The agnosticism of thirty-six years faded like morning mist. The spiritual worldview was clear to me in its glory and wonder." During his lifetime, he explored beliefs in angels, the calming effects of crystals and the power of ley lines, alongside organic farming and communal living. In 1971, he set up the Wrekin Trust to promote spiritual education and knowledge, and in 1982, he was awarded the Right Livelihood Award (the"alternative Nobel Prize") for his contribution towards healing the planet. He inspired and encouraged the emerging synthesis between science and spirituality, putting his faith for the future of society in the transforming power of spiritual awakening. He taught extensively, inspiring communities, universities and spiritual groups worldwide. He died in 1996 at the age of ninety.
